چکیده

A modeling approach of HDM based mixed finite element formulation of hydrostatic fluid-structure interaction is introduced. Fluid transfer analysis of mass flow rate versus pressure difference through fluid track between two chambers is carried out. The finite element models of upper and lower chambers are bridged through the fluid transfer analysis. Static working process of a typical HDM with fixed decoupler is simulated. The agreeable comparison of static elasticity with experimental result verifies the effectiveness and practicability of the proposed approach.

Grazing Bifurcations and Chaos of a Hydraulic Engine Mount

The constitutive relationships of the rubber materials that act as the main spring of a hydraulic engine mount are nonlinear. In addition to material induced nonlinearity, further nonlinearities may be introduced by mount geometry, turbulent fluid behavior, temperature, boundary conditions, decoupler action, and hysteretic behavior. In this research all influence the behavior of the system only...

Comparison of the hyperbolic range of two-fluid models on two-phase gas -liquid flows

In this paper, a numerical study is conducted in order to compare hyperbolic range of equations of isotherm two-fluid model governing on two-phase flow inside of pipe using conservative Shock capturing method. Differential equations of the two-fluid model are presented in two forms (i.e. form I and form II). In forms I and II, pressure correction terms are hydrodynamic and hydrostatic, respecti...

Performance Analysis of Different Modified MR Engines Mounts

Increasing current vehicle development trends for small, light, front wheel drive vehicles with low idle speeds have been forced automotive industries to use hydraulic engine mounts for further improvement in vibration, noise and harshness (NVH) performance of the vehicles. However, with the development of modern vehicle designs such as hybrid vehicles and variable engine management systems whi...

Title: Viscoelasticity Evaluation of Rubber by Surface Reflection of Supersonic Wave Author

The main characteristic of rubber is a viscoelasticity. So it is important to research the characteristic of the viscoelasticity of the high frequency band for the friction between a rubber material and the hard one with roughness, for instance, the tire and the road. As for the measurement of the viscoelasticity of rubber, DMA (Dynamic Mechanical Analysis) is general. However, some problems ar...

Physical modelling to remove hydrological effects at local and regional scale: application to the 100-m hydrostatic inclinometer in Sainte-Croix-aux-Mines (France)

New inclinometers devoted to hydrological studies were set up in the Vosges Mountains (France). Two orthogonal 100-meter base hydrostatic inclinometers were installed in December 2004 as well as a hydrometeorological monitoring system for the 100-km2 hydrological unit around the inclinometer. As inclinometers are very sensitive to environmental influences, this observatory is a test site to con...
